ABOUT  MY ART

Day-to-day life moves so fast; creating helps to slow things down.

My work is both led by my dreams, as well as how I see the world in the life I am living.  Really being in the moment, finding passion, traveling, or just seeing the world that’s around right now, these are life’s little pleasures.

When you think about it, time is really the most valuable component of our lives; you can’t own it, but you can use it.

And once time is transformed into art, you can never lose it.

My landscapes are these fragile moments; carefully crafted into tangible memories that can be cherished and held onto forever.

ABOUT ME

I live on Vancouver Island in the richly beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada.  Right now, I'm on a sabbatical from work to explore and be inspired by Europe!

My formal art training is deeply rooted in an abstract post-modernist approach (courtesy of the University of Ottawa).

Although I have explored many different painting techniques over the years, I am thrilled to be re-connecting with my abstract roots in my current landscapes.
